2024 UFO Challenge Registration

This will be a fun year of encouragement to finish up some of those projects you have at home. The guidelines are simple:

1. Register. It is $10 to participate with the possibility of paying more if you don't complete your monthly project. The money will be used to buy prizes for the end of the year.

2. Provide your email address. We will send you a link to the private Facebook group. Request to join the group.

3. Make a list of 14 UFO's you would like to "complete" in 2024.  Share your list in the FB group.

4. The last day of each month at noon, we will draw a number. The corresponding number will be the project you work on for the next month. Take a photo of your project with that number in the current state and post it in our private FB group. At the end of the month, take another photo of the progress. If you do not complete the project, there is a $10 penalty. Before and after pictures are required.

5. For every finished project, your name will go into the drawing for prizes at the end of the year.

6. You will have 1 “Freebie” month to use as you please. Please make sure you let the FB admins know if you want to use a “freebie” so the spreadsheet can be marked accordingly. If you complete all 12 months, your name will have a bonus entry in the end of year drawing.

7. If you have a large project or Quilt Kit, feel free to split it between numbers - but be specific about what you are going to accomplish within the month.  In other words, if your quilt has 12 blocks, you can split the 12 blocks over more than one line on your list. This is your challenge and intended to help you get things off your plate! Make it work for you.

8. If you want to drop out at any point, we ask for a $10 drop out fee so that we can add it to our prize money.

The first number will be drawn on December 31, 2023 and the last day of each month after.
